Natalie Abou-Alwan

Natalie Abou-Alwan has over 20 years’ experience in the Energy, Commodities and Project Finance industries. She started her career as a private practice lawyer in both UK City and Wall Street law firms. In 2006, Natalie was one of the initial team who established and developed JPMorgan’s European Energy and Commodities Trading Business. She then moved to BP plc in 2012, where she held various leadership and management positions in the Global Oil Trading, Structured Products and Low Carbon businesses, as well as co-chairing the organisation’s ethnic minorities network, winning industry awards. She was named a “Rising Star in the Energy Industry” on the Legal500’s 2017 GC Powerlist. Natalie also sits on the Board of Smart Works, a national charity supporting women back into the workforce. She holds a BA from Oxford University
