Mihaly K Varga is a business development professional with over 25 years of experience in strategic BD roles in the professional services sector. He has built distinct expertise in all aspects of law firm BD and Marketing working in regional business development roles at global accounting and law firms including Coopers & Lybrand, Clifford Chance, DLA Piper, and, since 2015, at leading pan-European law firm, Noerr.

He sees BD has a critical role in law firm management by creating a „strategic platform” for all professional service functions to work in unison to help the firm achieve competitive advantages.

Based in Budapest, he has developed an in-depth understanding of the CEE markets in addition to his experience of working across Europe and beyond, with a focus on business planning, key client relationship development and practice group management related services. Mihaly has been involved in major projects aimed at brand and reputation building involving the use of thought leadership initiatives based on extensive analyses of clients and markets
