History

Mark Rigotti is the Global Chief Executive Officer and a Partner of Herbert Smith Freehills. He has responsibility for the global strategy and operations of the organisation. This role involves leading the firm across more than 20 offices spanning Australia, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the USA. Prior to that Mark led the Corporate and Finance divisions of the firm as well as practising as a finance lawyer with a focus on project financing across a range of sectors. Mark is a member of the firm’s governing Council and chairs various bodies including the Global Executive and Global Diversity and Inclusion Group.

Qualifications

Mark has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. He is also a graduate of executive education programs from Mt Eliza Business School and Harvard University.
