Marie-Claire O’Hara is Senior Legal Counsel at Laing O’Rourke and specialises in advising its infrastructure business on avoiding and resolving disputes.

Laing O’Rourke’s infrastructure business offers expertise in rail, airports, marine and port facilities, water and waste water networks, power generation and distribution, roads, bridges and tunnels. Projects include the most significant infrastructure projects in the UK today such as Crossrail, HS2, Hinkley Point C, Manchester airport, Thames Tideway (“super sewer”) and the Northern Line Extension.

Marie-Claire is an employed barrister with almost 20 years of experience and previously worked in private practice in the legal sector as partner at law firm Bevan Brittan, specialising in PFI infrastructure projects, prior to which she was senior associate at law firm Nabarro where she advised on disputes concerning offshore wind, solar power and offshore decommissioning.
