James Thorne

James is a senior lawyer in the ABF legal team, based in London. He started working life as a journalist at Bloomberg LP, but soon realised he was better suited to a less dynamic career path so decided to become a lawyer instead. He trained at Freshfields and qualified into the dispute resolution department there, where he spent much of his time working on global product liability litigation and legal risk management matters, both of which are areas he has continued to focus on since moving in-house. James worked on secondment at Tesco plc before moving to ABF plc, where, among other things, he currently manages material group litigation matters globally.
