2023 was a year that never stood still for Jack Cowley, who has worked at Citi Private Wealth since 2015 and was an associate at Dentons before that. The Citi Private Wealth bank director and associate general counsel spent most of last year advising the EMEA wealth lending business on its day-to-day activities and challenges these raised.
Cowley formally took leadership for the legal coverage of the wealth at work team in EMEA, advised the business on several new initiatives and oversaw complex AML and sanctions issues. He was also responsible for leading the employee engagement initiatives in EMEA for the Citi Private Wealth legal team. This year, Cowley will continue to address regulatory impacts on the wealth business, such as Basel 3.1.
