Ilan is the Director of Clients, Marketing & Communications at German premium independent law firm, Gleiss Lutz. His main areas of focus are winning new work, relationship management, client programs, client listening, pricing and related topics on the client development side, and topics such as CSR, D&I and social media on the marketing side. At Gleiss Lutz, Ilan oversees a team of over 20 BD, marketing and communications professionals who work closely with the partners and other colleagues on a broad range of pertinent topics. He is also involved in the firm’s award-winning legal tech approach.

Before taking on the position with Gleiss Lutz in early 2019, Ilan gained more than 15 years of experience in business development at major international law firms, 10 of which were in leadership roles. He lived and worked in London from 2004 to 2009 and holds an Executive MBA from Cass Business School.
