Gloria Sánchez is the Group Head of Legal for Technology and Costs and Legal Transformation of Banco Santander. She is in charge of the legal advice to the technology and costs areas, together with the innovation strategy of the legal area. She commenced her legal career at Clifford Chance Madrid, and after some years advising clients in different transactions, she joined Banco Santander legal department. Before her current post, she has been head of legal for real estate, equity participations and portfolio sales at Banco Santander. At present, she is adjunct professor at IE Law School, as well as visiting lecturer at different universities: Bucerius Law School (Hamburg) and ESADE (Barcelona), Universidad Complutense (Madrid) and The Valley Digital School (Madrid). Previously, she has been professor of corporate law at Carlos III University in Madrid and adjunct professor at IE Architecture & Design School. Her experience covers strategy and innovation, legal tech and legal advice to different business and transactions: technology, real estate transactions, project finance and M&A.
