Giovanna and her team directly manage UK Litigation and Investigations and have oversight of the same in EMEA, cultivating and embracing a proactive mindset of tackling or eliminating risks before they crystalize, always keeping a close eye to efficiency improving opportunities. Gio and her team are recognised trusted advisors by all the lines of business they work with and provide advice in the area of consumer and commercial disputes, insolvency, credit risk, AML, regulatory matters, also participating or leading Projects and/or delivering Training on these topics in collaboration with the subject matter experts.

Giovanna is a dual qualified lawyer, Italy and England& Wales, and prior to joining Amex, Giovanna worked In-House at Centrica PLC in the litigation team and Vodafone Business where she led the litigation function. In her spare time, Gio enjoys hitting the slopes with her two boys and acting as the coach for their rugby teams.
