Following working as a Corporate Finance lawyer at Allen & Overy, Fiona has spent 20 years in Industry (including Leisure, Real Estate and Transport). Highly experienced in building successful internal and external teams globally, Fiona has worked in situ in over 25 countries.

Fiona spent 10 years helping drive the overseas expansion of Orient-Express Hotels Ltd (NYSE), concluding some £520m transactions globally (including Russia’s largest commercial property deal and Peru’s 1st privatisation – its railways).

Whilst at DTZ Holdings PLC, Fiona was a key member of the Executive Team responsible for steering the Company through 8 months’ of a continuous offer period ensuring, against the odds, the resurrection of the Company through a pre-packaged administration (now t/a Cushman & Wakefield).

Currently Group General Counsel & Company Secretary for GLH Hotels Ltd, Fiona joined the company to spearhead its legal and corporate governance functions, and has played a key role in the transformation of its estate, including concluding a complex franchise negotiation to deliver a 1,100-bedroom flagship Hard Rock Hotel London (opening 2019).
