David Lewis is VP, International Privacy and Data Strategy at Warner Bros. Discovery where he leads a team handling data privacy across EMEA, APAC and LatAm for high profile brands from HBO, WB and CNN to HBO Max, Discovery+, Eurosport, Harry Potter and more. Prior to WBD, David was EMEA GC at Snap Inc., where he built Snap’s first legal function outside the US. David began in private practice at Herbert Smith Freehills and later Fieldfisher, advising global tech businesses in the Silicon Valley and Europe. He has also held legal roles at BBC Studios and as GC of Comic Relief.
