Charlie is a seasoned in-house lawyer with experience in the banking, telecom, SaaS, biotech and fin-tech industries gained from counseling public and private companies, top-tier law firm training, and extensive international and domestic transactional exposure. In his current role at VEON, a multinational telecommunications company, Charlie serves as Associate General Counsel and Legal Chief of Staff, primarily responsible for leading and supporting cross-functional teams focused on key strategic initiatives and global transformation projects. Charlie is particularly passionate about improving the quality and delivery of legal advice using technology and process improvements to free up lawyers to spend more time as business partners, concentrating on strategic advice and solutions to complex legal issues.
