The first half of the year saw Getir’s post-merger integration process in full swing, following its acquisition of one of its major rivals. Anna Cosgrave, the former head of legal at Getir, had to dive at speed into the detail of several specialisms, such as tax and employment law.
The latter end of 2023 saw Cosgrave face new challenges and build legal processes that mitigate risks. As is the case in many scale-up companies, the only constant is change. This year will be focused on further leveraging her skills built up over the last eight years in-house. Cosgrave has now added Imperial College London, where she is director of legal (corporate affairs), to her CV, alongside former roles at Unilever and Graze. Projects in the pipeline include supporting various endowment fund initiatives and investments, together with major long-term real estate joint ventures in White City.
