Anant is General Counsel Europe and Asia Pacific at Ultra Electronics, a FTSE 250 company headquartered in London and serving the defence, security, transport and energy sectors. Anant enjoys the variety and challenge of his current role at Ultra, where he strives to work as a true business partner, on disparate matters including major contract disputes, complex regulatory investigations and Group-wide governance and compliance transformation initiatives. Before joining Ultra, Anant worked at Slaughter and May, where he advised on a broad range of Corporate and Commercial matters, with a particular focus on M&A. Originally from India, Anant has also lived and worked in Hong Kong and Madrid. In February 2021, Anant became a governing member of Council at City, University of London – he is enjoying learning about a new sector and engaging on the challenges being faced by young people in Higher Education.
