Amarpal Takk is the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary of Camellia Plc (“Camellia”). Camellia is an international conglomerate with a 130-year heritage, employing approximately 80,000 people globally. Its primary focus is agricultural food products, ranging from tea through to avocados. Amarpal is responsible for the legal, risk, compliance and regulatory matters for the global business which encompasses locations across all continents. His role covers amongst other matters, Risk, Governance, M&A, Company Secretarial, Data Protection, Litigation, Land Disputes, Compliance, Commercial Arrangements and ESG across the business.

Prior to joining Camellia, Amarpal was General Counsel, Europe for DBRS Ratings. Amarpal started his legal career in the London office of Hogan Lovells before moving in-house to join Lloyds Banking Group plc where he worked in the London and New York office and was the Head of Capital Markets, Legal.
