The role of the GC during a crisis can be stressful and high profile. With a particular focus on the pressures faced by GCs and other senior lawyers, this fast-paced session will consider:

• The GC’s role in a crisis and the team they should have around them
• D&O and other liabilities of the business and D&O together with risk mitigation strategies
• Navigating challenges such as privilege, managing internal and external investigations, reporting obligations to regulators and internal stakeholders
• Post-crisis remedial action – how the business can identify and use lessons learnt during the crisis to be stronger
