Over the last few months, the number of legal professionals working remotely has exploded beyond anything we could have imagined before the crisis. All signs point to a continuing shift towards remote work in the long term. As we reflect on this trend, the legal profession is rightly sensitive to the need to protect confidential data while we work outside physical offices.
In this talk, we aim to demonstrate that protecting information is not simply about preventing sophisticated cyber-attacks. Rather, Information Security is about creating a comprehensive system of protective measures – from the process-driven to the behavioural, from system-level measures down to the steps each of us can take to assist in protecting clients’ information.
