Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw has raided Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman for six new partners for its financial services practice in the US.
Five of the partners, Scott Anenberg, Marc Cohen, David Sahr, Thomas Delaney, Alex Lakatos, will be based in the firm’s Washington DC office. The sixth, Mark Hanchet, will be in based in New York.
The hires double the number of partners in Mayer Brown’s Washington-based financial services and regulation team to 10.
The losses leave Pillsbury’s financial services regulation team with just nine lawyers, including five partners in the US.
