Female trainee solicitors are still likely to be paid less than their male peers, according to a new Law Society report. The latest Law Society Annual Statistical Report shows that, on average, male trainees earn around £1,300 more a year than female trainees. The report also found that the number of training contracts awarded in England and Wales has increased by 4.3 per cent to 5,385.
