London bags two as Dundas promotes six

Scottish firm Dundas & Wilson has promoted six senior associates to the partnership.

Four of these are based in Scotland, and two in London.

In Glasgow the new partners are IP lawyer Carina Healey, who leads Dundas’s life sciences team; Claire Massie, who specialises in insolvency and turnaround; and real estate lawyer Darina Kerr. Planning lawyer Trudi Craggs got the nod in Edinburgh.

In London new M&A partner Nadim Meer will be joined by new corporate banking partner Ross Caldwel, who is relocating to Dundas’s London office after eight years working for the firm in Edinburgh.

The new London partners bring the number of fee-earners in the capital ever nearer to 100, including former Herbert Smith property litigation head Martin Thomas, who joined the firm in January (The Lawyer, 10 January).

However, as reported by The Lawyer (13 April), Dundas’s Edinburgh office was recently hit by the loss of technology specialist Gary Anderson, who left the firm after 13 years to join the local branch of Scottish rival McGrigors.
