Who’s better: lawyers or accountants? Oh all right, the actual question is ‘who’s better at social media: lawyers or accountants? The answer is: @beancounters.
Well, it is according to Living Ratings (who, we hear you shout?). They’ve just finished surveying a bunch of professional services firms to see who is handling the new-fangled world of social media the best. To come top, Living Ratings says a company needs to be able to “curate, create and publish ever more original and compelling branded content”.
Apparently you lawyers aren’t very good at this at all.
The report rates the UK’s leading legal and accountancy firms’ social media communications across five criteria: Influence; brand presence; brand content; Twitter frequency; and response.
The findings? Lawyers are rubbish at it. Eversheds, which came top of the law firms, is less rubbish than the rest, but it looks like you’ve all got some #catchingup to do.
And you can Tweet that. If you know how.
