World Cup of Chambers
The semi-finals are here: get voting.
We are maintaining strict neutrality here at The Lawyer so please take our sharing of Outer Temple’s puppy video not as an endorsement of them but as an example of the lengths chambers have been willing to go to in this competition.

The Lawyer Listens
Late rapper Mac Miller left a 10-year discography for his fans to enjoy prior to his death in 2018. He grew from a 15-year-old rapper from Pittsburgh to a visionary admired by fellow rappers, musicians and fans alike. In his second-to-last album Swimming, Mac spoke deeply about mental health and heartbreak, among other topics.
Swimming was envisioned to be accompanied by his last, posthumously released album, Circles. In it, we find a continued deep exploration of his feelings. Blue World is arguably the most cheery song in the LP, talking about life’s ups and downs. Its production was handled by Guy Lawrence, one half of UK-based house duo Disclosure. –Ana de Liz
Anyone in the legal sector is welcome to contribute to any of the sections of Law Against Loneliness.
Here is how to contribute to a few of the regular features we have run so far. Everything can be sent to email@example.com.
Video of the day
What we want are individual, personal contributions from lawyers and legal sector professionals working from home. You could be demonstrating a recipe, videoing your daily run, telling a joke, singing us a song, showing off a skill, or just telling us about your day and what you’ve been up to. We are very open to creativity – anything that uplifts or diverts.
What we don’t want is too many firm-branded videos talking about how seamlessly you have transitioned to a new way of working, please.
