By introducing a standard deed, property owners can now conclude an agreement with solar panel operators faster and cheaper for the installation of solar panels on company premises. In the past, explanation and assessment due to complexity led to long lead times and high consultancy costs. Because of this, smaller projects threatened to get off the ground in some cases. The deed takes into account the interests of all parties involved, including those of the banks involved, both on the part of the business premises and on the side of the solar panels.
The Dutch Banking Association (NVB) has taken the initiative to develop the standard deed. Notaries of Loyens & Loeff have contributed their knowledge and written the deed.
