Kinstellar has appointed Lyudmyla Volkova to the dispute resolution team at its Kyiv office as a managing associate.

In her new role, Volkova will focus on domestic litigation proceedings, administrative law matters and arbitration cases.

She will also continue to support the Ukrainian judiciary and legal community with the implementation of judicial reforms in Ukraine.

Volkova has over 15 years of legal experience, including for the past eight years as a judge of the Kharkiv district administrative court. She has spent her entire legal career in the state administration sector and has gained notable experience throughout the entire litigation lifecycle, from tax to administrative proceedings.

Volkova is a coach with the National School of Judges of Ukraine, a certified coach with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and a former member of Ukraine’s Council of Judges.

She is the author of numerous articles on the challenges and achievements of judicial reform in Ukraine. Volkova holds a Degree in Law from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Kharkiv Regional Institute of Public Administration.
