On 20 September, Kinstellar organised a panel discussion in Bucharest with leading experts on specific risks that companies are exposed to in Central and Eastern Europe. The panel was moderated by Jitka Logesová, partner and head of Kinstellar’s firm-wide Compliance, Risk and Sensitive Investigations practice, and Bogdan Bibicu, partner in the firm’s Bucharest office and head of the local practice. Speakers also included: Jason Woodland, partner, Peters & Peters Solicitors LLP, London; Nicholas Sarvari, M.A., managing partner, CNS Risk Ltd., London; and Per Sundbye, partner, head of forensic services SEE, PwC.

Attendees included top executives from a variety of sectors including banks and financial institutions, pharmaceuticals, retail, IT or infrastructure companies. Topics discussed included best practices when dealing with third parties, asset tracing and asset recovery, cyber security, reputational and other risks associated with doing business in CEE.
