Bosnia & Herzegovina
Bosnia & Herzegovina is located on the Balkan peninsula in South East Europe, and has some of the most unique natural beauty and cultural heritage in the region. The country is currently undergoing transitional liberal market reforms and has had to rebuild its economy from its war-torn past. A strong industry base focused on metals and metal processing, which was developed and fostered during socialist times, continues to exist, however, growth in the tourism, IT and agriculture and food processing sectors are currently being promoted in attracting investment.
Karanović & Nikolić is currently the main legal practice providing seamless legal services, in cooperation with local lawyers – members of the local bar chambers, to its clients from two fully operational offices in both entities of Bosnia & Herzegovina, the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia & Herzegovina. Partner Nihad Sijerčić heads up the team in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Both offices in Bosnia & Herzegovina offer full corporate and commercial legal services to clients, with a particular focus on banking and finance, merger and acquisitions as well as large-scale energy and infrastructure transactions.
