Kamil Blazek, partner, head of the firm-wide Infrastructure & Projects sector and the Chairman of the Association for Foreign Investment, spoke at the Krynica International Economic Forum on 8 September 2016 on long- and short-term energy security in EU projects and plans for the future.

Kamil Blazek discussed legal and commercial issues and the main problems hindering quick development and investment into energy infrastructure projects in the EU, including projects of common interest developments, the legislation framework as well as the insufficient capability of the EU to protect its long-term energy security aims with both diplomatic and military resources. Other speakers on the panel included Saulius Bilys, the COO of Amber Grid from Lithuania, and Pablo de Juan Garcia, Director of the Spanish Energy Club.
