The senior partner election at CMS Cameron McKenna will go to a third round after no overall winner was declared following a vote yesterday.
Project finance partner Andrew Ivison dropped out of the race after the second vote, leaving former managing partner Dick Tyler and consumer products chief Louise Wallace to fight it out.
The winner will replace incumbent Richard Price on 1 May. Price was elected to a second term in 2006, with his tenure extended by 12 months last year.
The final round of voting will close tomorrow (15 March) with a winner declared immediately after.
Tyler was managing partner at the City firm from 2000 until he took on the role of executive partner for the CMS network in 2008. Lane unsuccessfully stood against current managing partner Duncan Weston in the 2007 race to replace Tyler.
