Travers Smith has promoted four lawyers to its partnership for the third year running.
After being overlooked last year, the corporate practice will be boosted by the addition of one new partner – Chris Gower – with one each also made up in the firm’s employment, litigation and tax groups.
Litigation partner Caroline Edwards is the only woman to make the list after no females were made up in 2009.
The other new partners are Ed Mills in employment and Russell Warren in the tax group.
The City firm has now promoted four partners in each of the last three years after making up nine in its record year of 2007.
All four will join the partnership on 1 July.
