Steeles wins spots on Sussex consortium panel

Steeles will give advice to a framework of 16 Sussex authorities on administrative/local government law, civil litigation, criminal litigation, contract law, ICT, planning and housing.

David Merson, head of planning and environment at Steeles, said: “This is another exciting local government win for the firm.

“Public sector and local authority work’s been at the heart of Steeles Law’s strategic growth over the past 20 years and will continue to play a significant part in the firm’s future growth and development.”

With the appointment Steeles now has 42 local authority clients, including Lambeth, Croydon and Leeds.

Steeles became the first firm to take over the running of a local authority’s legal department when it took on the running of Broadland District Council in 1997.
