We would prefer to imagine Wootton cast in the mould of the Sheriffs of the Wild West.
A noble defender of law and order. A solid man of integrity and principle. An upstanding example for the hobos, delinquents and gun-slinging denizens of the Square Mile.
That’ll be just the Square Mile, and no further, by the way: a spokesperson at A&O confirmed that the corporate partner would not be provided with a horse.
