Currently firmwide leader of Pillsbury’s finance group, Whitney is noted for his skill in advising international banks and corporate equity firms in complex financings across the technology, telecom and transportation industries.
Commenting on the new appointment, firm chair Jim Rishwain said that Whitney would continue the firm’s ambitious growth strategy for New York, which has seen a rapid expansion in client offering.
New York partner Mats Carlston takes over as firmwide leader of Pillsbury’s finance group.
Most recently, the firm launched an office in Abu Dhabi, its first in the Middle East, on the back of increasing work from the region (26 October 2011).
