France’s Lefèvre Pelletier launches in Frankfurt

French independent Lefèvre Pelletier & Associés is expanding into Germany with the hire of a partner from Marccus Partners, the legal arm of consultancy business Mazars.

Guillaume Rubechi joins Lefèvre Pelletier as a local partner, kickstarting the firm’s Frankfurt office. The French firm currently has a number of international offices but none, to date, in Germany.

Meanwhile three other Marccus partners are joining Lefèvre Pelletier’s Paris office. Jacques-Henry Bourmont will head up the firm’s tax team. He brings particular experience in real estate taxation work.

Property partner Silke Nadolni and social law specialist Monika Seidel-Moreau both strengthen Lefèvre Pelletier’s international offering, particularly with regard to German-speaking clients.

The hires are part of Lefèvre Pelletier’s continued efforts to rebuild its ranks after it lost a third of its partnership to Wragge & Co last year (25 January 2010).
