Two employment partners are leaving Wragge & Co for Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC).
Andrew Hodge and Patrick Brodie join RPC’s five-partner employment, pensions and incentives group, which covers both contentious and non-contentious work.
Hodge became a partner at Wragges in 1998, having previously worked at Allen & Overy. Brodie became a partner at Wragges, where he trained, in 2003.
The two partners focus on providing strategic advice to clients undergoing major restructuring and organisational change, including in the financial services, transport, automotive, health, central government and media sectors.
RPC managing partner Jonathan Watmough said: “We’re absolutely thrilled Andrew and Patrick are joining. Employment’s a fast-growing area of core business for RPC, and it’s important to us that this growth continues, especially in terms of the top-end strategic advisory practice.
“In Andrew and Patrick we’ve secured not only experts and thought leaders from a leading employment stable but also committed business developers with the profile and energy to help propel the team to even greater heights.”
Wragges senior partner Quentin Poole said: “Andrew and Patrick are both excellent lawyers who’ve helped us build a strong, dynamic and award-winning employment practice. We wish them the very best of luck in this venture.”
