Davis Polk & Wardwell has continued to build its Hong Kong office with the hire of Linklaters’ Beijing head.
Paul Chow, an M&A partner and office head at Linklaters in Hong Kong, will join Davis Polk as a partner next May.
Earlier this month, Davis Polk launched a Hong Kong law practice when it hired partners Bonnie Chan and Antony Dapiran. The latter was managing partner of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s Beijing office (TheLawyer.com 16 August)
Before joining Linklaters, Chow was a partner at Slaughter and May’s Hong Kong office.
