What time do you start work each day?

Start around 8am.

What’s the most boring thing you’ve been asked to do in your job?

Come in very early on New Year’s day 2000 to oversee the Y2K bug and nothing happened.

What is the most unusual Christmas present that you have received from a colleague?

An out of date calendar.

If you could introduce one law, what would it be and why?

That it was illegal to support Spurs. Lets just say being an Arsenal fan is a good enough reason

How did you spend your last bonus? (If you have never received a bonus, how would you hope to spend it in the future)?

Giving it to the taxman.

What are the best perks of your role?

Always getting a spare towel for the showers after a run.

What do you wear on dress-down Fridays?

Jeans, t-shirt, trainers.

Have you ever been asked to do anything at work that you suspect might have been illegal?

With so many lawyers under one roof, what do you think?

What is the most irritating habit of any partner you’ve worked for?

How do you unwind at the end of a hard week?

Go on a 10 mile run.

Do you see your colleagues on weekends?

On the rare occasion, however they do normally try to avoid me.

My partner used to work for DLA Piper and we now have two kids.

If you were a lawyer what would your practice area be and why?

Restructuring, as they do seem to have the best parties.   

What do you eat for lunch?

Normally an M&S sandwich, yoghurt and fruit.

Is your salary (in thousands) greater than your age?

Let’s just say that with pay reviews on the horizon, I’m definitely underpaid.

What items do you always carry around with you at work?

Access pass, phone and hardhat.

Who do you have photos of on your desk?

The kids and an Arsenal team photo.
