Clydesdale Bank has revamped its national panel, with 14 firms appointed.
Addleshaw Goddard, Brodies, CMS Cameron McKenna, DLA Piper, Dundas & Wilson, Eversheds, Harper Macleod, HBJ Gateley Wareing, Hogan Lovells, McClure Naismith, Morton Fraser, Norton Rose, Optima Legal and Thomas Eggar all make the list following the review.
A spokesperson for the bank described it as a consolidation of some of the bank’s existing panels, which are now being brought together under the National Legal Panel. The number of firms the bank goes to for legal advice has been reduced as a result.
Legal head Michael Webber said in a statement: “As a matter of course we regularly review our key suppliers, and as a result we’ve consolidated the number of firms on our National Legal Panel.”
Scotland-based Clydesdale Bank, which includes Yorkshire Bank, is a subsidiary of National Australia Bank, which reviewed its global panel earlier this year. Allen & Overy, Baker & McKenzie and Linklaters all won spots.
