BLP promotions see eight make partner

Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has promoted eight lawyers to its partnership, with all but one based in London.

The remaining new partner works out of the firm’s Moscow office.

The lawyers are in the corporate, litigation and real estate departments and two of them are women.

Managing partner Neville Eisenberg (pictured) said: ” Notwithstanding the challenging environment, we remain committed to providing our lawyers with the opportunities to fulfil their potential.

“It’s very pleasing to see a number of these promotions in Moscow, which has had a very good first year of operations.”

In addition eight senior associates and one knowledge development lawyer (KDL), including five lawyers based out in Moscow, have been promoted to the position of associate director, which is an alternative to partnership.
