Belgian independent Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick has appointed Jan Vincent Lindemans as managing partner and Philippe Malherbe as senior partner.
Lindemans replaces Aimery de Schoutheete, who steps down after 10 years in the role.
Both Lindemans and Malherbe have been members of the firm’s board of directors for a number of years.
Lindemans said Liedekerke would continue to invest in the development of multidisciplinary teams structured along sector lines. He added that the firm wanted to expand its support service “over the next few years” to improve client service.
Liedekerke has a team of 130 lawyers in Brussels as well as a small London office.
