The appointments, which will take effect 1 January, were made across the labour, corporate, real estate, public/procurement and IP/IT/media sectors, and included two members from the firm’s international offices.
Kamil Karibov, a real-estate specialist at the firm’s Moscow office, was made up to salaried partner while corporate partner Susanne Rademacher, who heads the firm’s Beijing office, was promoted to the equity.
Labour specialists Marco Ferme and Dietmar Müller-Boruttau, from Munich and Berlin respectively, also made equity partner.
“With this election we’ve not only appreciated the excellent work of our colleagues but, at the same time, significantly reinforced the entrepreneurial quality of Beiten Burkhardt through an increasing individual responsibility on site,” said managing partner Frank Obermann.
As well as its five German locations and offices in Russia and China, Beiten Burkhardt also has a presence in Ukraine, Poland and Belgium.
