DLA Piper has raised salaries for its trainees and lawyers.

London first year trainees have had pay bumped from £40,000 to £42,000. Second-years will now be paid £47,000, while NQ salaries for those in the capital rise from £65,000 to £70,000 – an 8 per cent pay boost.

In the rest of England, first years will be paid £27,000, second-years will take home £30,000 and NQs will pocket £41,000.

Finally, DLA trainees based in Scotland will receive £24,000 in their first year, £26,000 in their second year and £38,000 on qualification.
