Manchester firm Express Solicitors has increased its turnover from £5.3m in 2011/12 to £7.2m in 2012/13.
A key part of Express Solicitor’s success has been an increased emphasis on pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and search engine optimisation (SEO) over the past year. The firm’s original budget for PPC and SEO marketing was £5,000 per month, but this has since increased to £48,000 per month.
Express has also seen a surge in caseloads over the past year by 34 per cent across medical negligence, public liability, road traffic accident and employers’ liability litigation.
Other factors supporting the firm’s growth include a 53 per cent increase in its stake in claims handling network Injury Lawyers 4U and the launch of two websites targeting the serious injury and cerebral palsy markets.
Managing partner James Maxey said: “This has been a fantastic year for us, despite the changes in law that actually make it harder for personal injury law firms to succeed. With a great team behind us, we will look to consolidate and grow over the next year to help us reach our target of £10m turnover within two to three years.”
