DLA Piper has appointed David Chijner and Noam Ankri as partners in its restructuring team in Paris. Their arrival is part of the firm’s strategy to become a leading player in restructuring after the integration of nine partners from Frieh Bouhenic in October 2012.
Ankri advises clients, mainly investment funds, on restructuring transactions in both in-court and out-of-court proceedings. He has also been teaching private equity and restructuring at the university for many years.
Chijner is widely renowned in the market for his experience in restructuring and M&A. Specialising in complex restructurings and pre-insolvency situations in an international environment, David has advised most of the major restructuring operations in France in recent years for several investment funds, US and European banks.
