Helen Brooks and Will Clift join Goodman Derrick’s employment department

Goodman Derrick has announced the appointment of employment law partner Helen Brooks and solicitor Will Clift.

Brooks joins the firm’s employment department from Charles Russell, where she had been a partner since 2006. Her practice is made up of contentious and non-contentious employment work and specialist health and safety advice.

Brooks advises UK, European and international businesses at all stages of their business cycle; she also acts for employees. Her advisory expertise is complemented by her early experience as a High Court litigator and latterly tribunal specialist (including appeals to the Employment Appeals Tribunal). She has particular experience of advising on redundancies, relocations, outsourcing, business transfers, business protection, restrictive covenants and confidential information.

Clift, previously of Withers and Barker Gillette, advises employers and employees across the spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment and discrimination law.
