Hogan Lovells has hired partner Eduardo Ustaran to join its global privacy and information management practice. He will be based in the London office and will manage the firm’s European capability in this area.
Ustaran has many years’ experience in privacy and data protection law and will join the firm from Field Fisher Waterhouse, where he built and led the privacy and information law group. He advises clients across a range of sectors, including energy, life sciences, media and entertainment, public sector, retail, technology and communications.
He is recognised as a leading practitioner in the European Union for privacy and data protection work and was named by Revolution magazine as one of the 40 most influential people in the growth of the digital sector in the UK. Ustaran is also highly ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners legal directories.
