Conyers’ London office hosts roundtable discussion on gender diversity

Conyers Dill & Pearman’s London office, in partnership with Lex Mundi, has hosted a roundtable discussion on the subject of gender diversity in the boardroom.

Sheba Raza, counsel in Conyers’ London office, moderated a debate on the comparative merits of quota legislation, compliance with corporate governance codes and self-regulation by the international business community.

More than 30 representatives from the London offices of 16 Lex Mundi member firms participated in the discussion, which included summaries on the current approaches being taken in the UK, Ireland, Belgium, the Nordic countries and Canada from Kenneth Shand of Maclay Murray & Spens, Kathleen Garrett of Arthur Cox, Christel van den Eynden of Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick, Ann Grewar of LOGOS Legal Services and Jennifer Maxwell of Blake, Cassels & Graydon respectively.
