King & Wood Mallesons announces new global organisational structure

On the first day of the King & Wood Mallesons combination with SJ Berwin, Stuart Fuller, global managing partner, announced the new integrated global organisation structure that will reportedly focus the firm on delivering a powerful value proposition to its clients.

The International Management Committee is the overall governing body of King & Wood Mallesons and is responsible for strategy, integration, governance and other major decisions. The committee, led by global chairman Wang Junfeng, welcomes Stephen Kon, Rob Day, Maxence Bloch and Stefan Kruger, with Jonathan Blake and Craig Pollack joining as alternates.

The Executive Committee, headed by Fuller, is responsible for operational decisions regarding the King & Wood Mallesons network and integration of the member firms, as well as for making recommendations to the IMC. Along with Fuller, the members are Sue Kench, Wang Ling, Rupert Li and Day.

For the largest practice teams, global practice co-ordinators have been appointed. The global practice co-ordinators are responsible for co-ordinating business plans into a global strategy for their practice team. They will aid communication and co-ordination and drive global business development initiatives.
