Rowan Williams is head of Baker Tilly’s professional practices group in the London and south regions, as well as an advisory partner.
She also leads Baker Tilly’s London accounting and business advisory team, which advises clients on a wide range of financial matters.
Previously, she was a partner in a top-six practice managing a diverse range of clients, including partnerships, LLPs, AIM-listed companies and owner-managed businesses.
Williams has extensive experience of working with professional practice firms including businesses providing legal, architecture, recruitment and other ‘human capital’ services. Her role covers both assurance and strategic advisory work. She has advised many partnerships on a wide range of strategic matters and is able to bring her experience from the corporate sector into play when working with her legal practice clients.
She has a very strong focus on client service and finding solutions and is pragmatic, practical and commercial in her approach.
Williams is a member of the Managing Partners Forum and the Association of Partnership Practitioners. She is an experienced presenter and regularly writes articles for the professional press.
