King & Wood Mallesons advises Bright Ruby Resources on 231 Elizabeth Street acquisition

King & Wood Mallesons has advised Singapore-based investment house Bright Ruby Resources on its acquisition of 231 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, from Investa for approximately AUD201m (£128m).

The King & Wood Mallesons team was led by real-estate partner Sue Kench, who was supported by senior associate Roger Clarke and solicitor James Hough.

The law firm previously advised Bright Ruby on its acquisition of an office tower at 10 Barrack Street, Sydney, from Blackrock, which marked the company’s first venture into the Australian commercial property market.
