Dundas & Wilson has promoted 10 senior associates to its partnership across its offices, including seven women.
The promotions round is the firm’s biggest for several years. In 2012 Dundas promoted four new partners and its largest promotions rounds recently were 2007 and 2008, when the firm added six partners in both years.
None of the new partners are in Dundas’s London office. Aberdeen gains two new partners and Edinburgh and Glasgow four each.
The firm’s joint managing partners Caryn Penley and Allan Wernham said the newly-promoted partners had all been with Dundas for “most if not all” of their careers. “It is our strength in Scotland that helps drive our growth throughout the UK, and we look forward to seeing their enthusiasm and expertise support our growth in the years to come,” the duo added.
Chairman Laurence Ward said the promotions represented a “huge investment” in the firm’s future.
